Yesterday we made performance enhancements to our ExchangeDefender Email Reports to help cope with the amount of junk arriving in reports as of late. As of this morning, it still does not show signs of improvement we have been expecting. While we are still trying to address the issue, we do not recommend using ExchangeDefender SPAM reports and suggest moving to Outlook or Desktop agents for ExchangeDefender or preferably the web interface.
Update: We believe the issue has been resolved and is now behaving correctly. We are continuing to watch it.
Symptoms: Empty intraday, fractional daily reports.
We are currently investigating an issue on one of our pop3 hosting servers. It appears to be a complex issue affecting a number of accounts. We believe we are near bringing this component back to full functionality.
Symptom: Cluster is up and responsive but certain users are not receiving mail. (related to a corrupted journal on one of the SANs)
11 AM EST: Service restored. We are still researching the issue and will provide an update after the weekly maintenance this Saturday. This appears to have been caused by a DDoS that did not get properly picked up.
Happy New Year!
We have had an exciting 2008 with all the ExchangeDefender and Offsite Backup work. On behalf of my team I am sure you will appreciate that we hope for a far less exciting 2009
Exchange Hosting – We are rolling out a new Exchange 2007 grid, huey.exchangedefender.com today. This is primarily to address the growth in our Exchange Hosting operation and eliminate any growing pains down the road.
ExchangeDefender AntiSpam – As announced on our official blog, the new ExchangeDefender engine is in play. We will be keeping an eye on this for any unusual behavior over the next few days.
Web Hosting – Migration to new hardware continues. We expect to complete web server migrations this week with SQL scheduled for the weekend.
